In the video JDTJ’s Bob and Doug- Summer Farewell & Memories of Ketchup, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of made up Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a show which was broadcast on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it aired by CBC Television in . The character Bob McKenzie is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by comic Dave Thomas. Although made originally as an idea to both please and make fun of dumb Canadian content legislation, the siblings transformed into a pop culture success in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
