In the video Jeff Foxworthy Redneck 12 Days Of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of odd Canadian brothers who hosted “Great White North”, a show which was included on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it aired by CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s partThe character Bob is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by comic Dave Thomas. The bit was developed originally as a skit to both please and mock annoying Canadian content guidelines, the pair morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The characters soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
