Bob and Doug McKenzie in Jimbo Bonnen McKenzie Brothers 12 days of Christmas

In the video Jimbo Bonnen McKenzie Brothers 12 days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of odd Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a program which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob is played by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. Despite brought to life originally as filler to both please and laugh about legal Canadian content statutes, the two morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
