In the video Jimbo Bonnen presents the Mckenzie Brothers 12 days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian brothers who hosted “Great White North”, a segment which was televised on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it aired by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob McKenzie is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is performed by Dave Thomas. It was created originally as a skit to both fulfill and laugh at dumb Canadian content rules, the duo turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The brothers enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
