In the video Julzz – TakeOff OpenMic Performance In OpenMindStudioz, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian family members who can been seen in “Great White North”, a segment which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Although born originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and laugh at non sensical Canadian content policies, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The pair became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
