Bob and Doug McKenzie in Kadoran (Yann Tiersen cover)

In the video Kadoran (Yann Tiersen cover), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of made up Canadian brothers who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was aired on CBC Television in the eighties. The character Bob McKenzie is played by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously made originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and laugh at non sensical Canadian content guidelines, the characters transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie siblings became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
