In the video Kristina & Chalie- Wedding Cinematography- Normandy Farms, Dave Thomas, ASC, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of made up Canadian siblings who can been seen in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was featured on CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob’s character is created by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was created originally as a joke to both fulfill and make fun of non sensical Canadian content rules, the duo transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the States. The two went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
