In the video La noyée – Yann Tiersen(cover by Dave Thomas in Recife-PE), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hilarious Canadian actors who hosted “Great White North”, a skit which was streamed on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it got sold to CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob is acted by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. The bit was developed originally as an idea to both please and laugh at stupid Canadian content demands, the duo turned into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and America. The pair enetually would become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
