Bob and Doug McKenzie in Leadership Interview – Dave Thomas – B.S. IE ’71 & M.S. ’72

In the video Leadership Interview – Dave Thomas – B.S. IE ’71 & M.S. ’72, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of made up Canadian siblings who created “Great White North”, a skit which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob is acted by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was born originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and make fun of stupid Canadian content legislation, the pair turned into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the United States. The characters soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
