Bob and Doug McKenzie in Little Giants #12

In the video Little Giants #12, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is brought to life by Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Despite made originally as fluff to both satisfy and laugh about non sensical Canadian content policies, the siblings grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and across the border. The pair enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
