Bob and Doug McKenzie in Little Giants #16

In the video Little Giants #16, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hysterical Canadian actors who created “Great White North”, a sketch which was broadcast on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it got sent to CBC Television in . Bob’s character is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is played by actor Dave Thomas. Although born originally as an idea to both please and make fun of non sensical Canadian content rules, the pair turned into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the United States. The two later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
