The character Bob McKenzie is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously created originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and laugh about annoying Canadian content guidelines, the duo transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
