Bob and Doug McKenzie in Little Giants #21

In the video Little Giants #21, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of odd Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in . Bob’s character is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is played by comic Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was born originally as a skit to both please and laugh at legal Canadian content laws, the pair turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
