Bob and Doug McKenzie in Little Giants #23

In the video Little Giants #23, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hysterical Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a sketch which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob’s character is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and laugh at silly Canadian content policies, the characters turned into a pop culture success in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
