Bob and Doug McKenzie in Little Giants #24

In the video Little Giants #24, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian actors who created “Great White North”, a program which was aired on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by actor Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as a sketch to both satisfy and mock annoying Canadian content demands, the pair morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The two soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
