In the video Little Giants Movie TV Spot (1994) Rick Moranis, Ed O’Neill, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sent to CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob’s part is performed by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. The bit was created originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and mock annoying Canadian content policies, the pair morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The two enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
