In the video Little Shop Medley: Outtakes, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hilarious Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a segment which was featured on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is created by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was born originally as a sketch to both fulfill and makes jokes about silly Canadian content legislation, the characters grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The brothers went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

Little Shop of Horrors Medley ft. train and giggles

I like to think I patterned the “my leg” part after Rick Moranis, but in truth I hadn’t yet seen his outtake at the time I recorded this. Though it was certainly how I felt after working the puppet for a good twenty minutes.

pick up a pruning shears I slip and look
at that again okay with the correct
