Bob and Doug McKenzie in Little Shop of Horrors I’m a Dentist

In the video Little Shop of Horrors I’m a Dentist, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of strange Canadian family members who hosted “Great White North”, a program which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it moved to CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob’s part is performed by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously brought to life originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and laugh at non sensical Canadian content rules, the characters turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The brothers went on to become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
