In the video lock up your daughters – starring baby rick moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hilarious Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was broadcast on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. The sketch was brought to life originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and make fun of network Canadian content rules, the characters morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
