Comic genius Mel Brooks strikes back in this spoof of the Star Wars trilogy. When the nefarious Dark Helmet (Rick Moranis) hatches a plan to snatch Princess Vespa (Daphne Zuniga) and steal her planet’s air, space-bum-for-hire Lone Starr (Bill Pullman) and his clueless sidekick (John Candy) fly to the rescue. Along the way, they meet Yogurt (Brooks), who puts Lone Starr wise to the power of “The Schwartz.” Can he master it in time to save the day?

well if you’re living in a bubble and
you haven’t got a care then you’re gonna
be in trouble cuz we’re gonna steal your
air this is my LT a review for space
balls and I’ll tell you the first time I
saw that this movie was on netflix i
immediately said that is why evil will
always triumph because good is dumb and
then i said we need to do this the LTA
Movie Club and I suggested it and thanks
to all of your thumbs up we have so just
let you guys know I pick good ones I
picked brick I pick spaceballs both
wonderful movies now on to the review
you’ve got spaceballs is essentially if
you take all of your favorite sci-fi
films like Star Wars and aliens and the
original Planet of the Apes the really
cool one not that hokey new crappy one
then you add the awesomesauce of Mel
Brooks Rick Moranis and the late great
John Candy then you’ve got this movie
it’s the movie equivalent of if your
girlfriend shows up at your house with
like a six-pack of your favorite beer
and a pizza and says she’s staying the
night I mean that’s how good this movie
is it’s this is just wonderful wonderful
movie this with awesome sauce and some
extra wonderful it’s just that great of
a film now when Mel Brooks talked about
doing a sequel I actually sent him the
letter saying that I wanted to play barf
because people say I look like John
Candy and to be honest with you I think
that’s just them saying I’m fat but
that’s beside the point he did make a
science fiction cartoon series based on
this movie it’s all right it’s on
netflix tube you can see it it’s also
it’s also free or at least it was free
on YouTube so if you just Google
spaceballs animated series or search
that on YouTube it should come up so if
you want to see that it’s there but what
can I say about this movie other than
it’s probably one of the funniest
science fiction movies I’ve ever seen go
watch it with
girlfriend some beer and some pizza I

  1. oh… the signing is the best part. I enjoy the enthusiasm you have for it. I used to sing, it was once a big part of me. Still is, I just do it when no one else can hear me. Please keep singing…

  2. @Luisguadarrama11 but is that a good thing? I'd rather sound like John Candy and make the second movie but good luck getting Brooks to go for it.
