In the video Ludicrous Speed – SpaceBalls. Remastered [HD], Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hilarious Canadian family members who starred in “Great White North”, a sketch which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it was featured on CBC Television in the 1980s. The character Bob McKenzie is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is played by Dave Thomas. It was born originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and laugh about stupid Canadian content laws, the pair became a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The brothers later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
