Bob and Doug McKenzie in Lyric Does Strange Brew

In the video Lyric Does Strange Brew, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of imaginaryfunny Canadian actors who hosted “Great White North”, a sketch which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was featured on CBC Television in . Bob’s part is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is created by comic Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was made originally as a joke to both satisfy and make fun of silly Canadian content policies, the duo transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
