Bob and Doug McKenzie in “Mad Bad Dad Rap” -Dave Thomas

In the video “Mad Bad Dad Rap” -Dave Thomas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of odd Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a skit which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it aired by CBC Television in . Bob’s part is performed by Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by actor Dave Thomas. It was created originally as fluff to both fulfill and make fun of annoying Canadian content policies, the brothers became a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the US. The two later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
