Bob’s character is acted by actor Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Which was made originally as filler to both please and make fun of annoying Canadian content demands, the characters morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The pair went on to become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
A 35-year-old man was arrested Saturday in the New York City attack on actor Rick Moranis of “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” fame, authorities said.
Suspect Marquis Ventura was spotted by transit officers in the subway system near 72nd Street and Broadway, a few blocks from where the Oct. 1 assault took place at Central Park West near 70th Street, Sgt. Anwar Ishmael said.
Police did not identify the victim as Moranis but referred to the assault outside the actor’s Upper West Side building. Moranis was punched by a man in an “I Love NY” sweatshirt, and the assault was captured on security video.
Moranis, 67, hit the ground after the punch and later took himself to a hospital. It did not appear the actor did anything to provoke his assailant.
At the time, Moranis’ spokesman confirmed he was the victim of assault. “He is fine but grateful for everyone’s thoughts and well wishes,” Troy Bailey said after the attack became public.
Police said Ventura was apprehended and later arrested on suspicion of assault in the second degree, which includes the allegation that he had “intent to cause serious physical injury to another person.

It’s the judges and prosecutors in every city and state that are behind this agenda, and they are all not liberals. Look into any violent criminal and see his past arrest and prison time and repeat offenses. It’s part of the plan to destabilize our society and divide us and keep the average person living in fear. The true data must be put out to the public every day by all of us, then the judges and prosecutors will be forced to do their job and send these violent criminals away for 20 years to life, then the media will be forced to report on it.
The horrible suspect also has a YouTube channel using his name. He has a video of himself rapping.

Ventura is also said to have pulled out a knife on Ashley Davis, 34, and her husband, Glenn Smith, 34, before beating them both on the subway on April 13.

With the current climate as it is, my more liberal news feeds(yahoo, aol ) have published pieces calling attention to white Americas fear of masculine black men, as if it is irrational, as if it some sign of weakness and insecurity. Well, here it, is just one more exhibit in the case against that.
These incidents and worse play out every single day in this country with large segments of a certain demographic. NY State, NYC and the moonbats responsible for voting in the system they live under are reaping their harvest now and for some time to come. This guy will be on the streets again soon enough

sad part is the city won't give him any time…….. look this guy up, he also beat a couple up and the police charged the women's husband for picking up the knife this piece of garbage dropped during the melee…….. You can't make this stuff up. He obviously was still roaming the streets after his last assault(s), Wonder what would happen if a crazed Caucasian was going around beating a different race up all the time? hate charges right? yeah thought so. Hopefully he runs into an armed person soon and they save the courts and city from NOT doing their jobs(they never prosecute and wonder why they have crime problems). I WISH Someone would leave this guy steaming on the sidewalk on a cold winter day like a turd on the streets of San Francisco.
