In the video Max Webster – Waterline Reaction, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of strange Canadian comedians who created “Great White North”, a show which was introduced on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s part is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. The bit was brought to life originally as a joke to both fulfill and laugh about dumb Canadian content legislation, the siblings became a pop culture success in both Canada and the States. The brothers soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

Oh yeah….Max Webster is right up there with the all time faves from that era.Always blew my mind that they were virtually unknown in the States, as I rate them with as one of best Canadian bands ever. Kim Mitchell is an Icon.

Saw Max Webstwr supporting Rush back in 1981……..they were a great band that got a standing ovation from the Rush army!!! They laughed and interacted with the crowd…….their "Milliom Vacations " album is a classic. Both live and on record kim Michell's guitar work cuts like a hot knife through butter.
Not heard of this band/guy sounds familiar though. A fun track
