In the video McFarlen Toys Bob and Doug Mckenzie Unboxing and Review, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hysterical Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a show which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it braodcast by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by Dave Thomas. Although made originally as fluff to both satisfy and mock stupid Canadian content demands, the duo became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The pair enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
