Bob and Doug McKenzie in McKenzie Brothers

In the video McKenzie Brothers, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hysterical Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. The character Bob McKenzie is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although brought to life originally as a sketch to both satisfy and makes jokes about legal Canadian content laws, the two turned into a pop culture success in both Canada and America. The two went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
