Bob and Doug McKenzie in McKenzie Brothers

In the video McKenzie Brothers, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of fictional Canadian siblings who starred in “Great White North”, a skit which was aired on SCTV for the show’s third season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob is brought to life by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is performed by comic Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as a skit to both fulfill and makes jokes about dumb Canadian content legislation, the brothers transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The characters soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
