In the video MERBABU MILKY WAY “Dave Thomas Junior – I Can’t Make You Love Me”, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who hosted “Great White North”, a segment which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s character is acted by actor Rick Moranis and the character Doug is performed by actor Dave Thomas. The sketch was born originally as a skit to both satisfy and laugh at annoying Canadian content laws, the duo became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the US. The characters soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
