Bob and Doug McKenzie in Merry Christmas, eh

In the video Merry Christmas, eh, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hilarious Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a skit which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it moved to CBC Television in 1980. Bob McKenzie is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. It was made originally as an idea to both please and make fun of legal Canadian content statutes, the two transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The characters soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
