Bob and Doug McKenzie in Metro’s 12 days of Christmas

In the video Metro’s 12 days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian brothers who were featured in “Great White North”, a program which was aired on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is played by comic Dave Thomas. Although created originally as a sketch to both satisfy and make fun of legal Canadian content statutes, the siblings transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the US. The brothers soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
