Bob and Doug McKenzie in Muppets Tonight – S2 E2 P1/3 – Rick Moranis

In the video Muppets Tonight – S2 E2 P1/3 – Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian brothers who starred in “Great White North”, a segment which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is performed by Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was created originally as a skit to both fulfill and make fun of legal Canadian content policies, the duo transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the United States. The two enetually would become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
