In the video mvi_3940.avi, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hilarious Canadian brothers who hosted “Great White North”, a program which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. Despite brought to life originally as a skit to both fulfill and laugh about legal Canadian content legislation, the siblings grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The brothers became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
