In the video My Blue Heaven 1990 Turkish Dubbing / Steve Martin – Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a segment which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob McKenzie is acted by Rick Moranis and Doug is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although born originally as a joke to both satisfy and mock non sensical Canadian content demands, the siblings became a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The two later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
