Bob and Doug McKenzie in My Blue Heaven Books Excuse

In the video My Blue Heaven Books Excuse, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian siblings who hosted “Great White North”, a show which was streamed on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was aired on CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s part is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by actor Dave Thomas. It was created originally as a skit to both satisfy and make fun of non sensical Canadian content statutes, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the US. The brothers went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
