Bob and Doug McKenzie in My blue Heaven

In the video My blue Heaven, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a skit which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s third season when it was featured on CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Although made originally as a joke to both please and laugh at non sensical Canadian content rules, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The pair became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
