In the video My Rick Moranis Movie Collection (2022), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hilarious Canadian family members who starred in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was shown on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is created by comic Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and make fun of non sensical Canadian content guidelines, the characters turned into a pop culture success in both Canada and America. The pair soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
