Bob and Doug McKenzie in Nathan’s DVD collection – Rick Moranis Part 2

In the video Nathan’s DVD collection – Rick Moranis Part 2, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hysterical Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a program which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. The character Bob McKenzie is created by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. The sketch was brought to life originally as a sketch to both fulfill and mock annoying Canadian content legislation, the siblings transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The two enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
