Bob McKenzie is performed by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously born originally as a sketch to both satisfy and laugh about dumb Canadian content laws, the pair transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and America. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
