Bob and Doug McKenzie in nostalgia – Great White North

In the video nostalgia – Great White North, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian comedians who hosted “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was featured on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it moved to CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob is created by Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by comic Dave Thomas. It was created originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and mock non sensical Canadian content guidelines, the siblings became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The pair went on to become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
