Bob and Doug McKenzie in NOT A GREAT DAMER MADE ME DO IT

In the video NOT A GREAT DAMER MADE ME DO IT, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian actors who were featured in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was televised on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it aired by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is performed by the funny Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as filler to both please and laugh about stupid Canadian content legislation, the two became a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the US. The two later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
