Bob and Doug McKenzie in Officer Joe’s Message to Dave Thomas Educational Center

In the video Officer Joe’s Message to Dave Thomas Educational Center, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of odd Canadian comedians who created “Great White North”, a show which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is created by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as filler to both please and laugh about silly Canadian content guidelines, the siblings became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The characters became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
