Bob and Doug McKenzie in Oh So Bucco

In the video Oh So Bucco, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian siblings who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was included on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it moved to CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by comic Dave Thomas. The bit was created originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and make fun of non sensical Canadian content guidelines, the siblings morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The characters became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
