In the video OMG Rick Moranis is evolving, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of fictional Canadian siblings who hosted “Great White North”, a segment which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it got sent to CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob McKenzie is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by Dave Thomas. Despite developed originally as a joke to both satisfy and mock network Canadian content rules, the duo grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
