In the video On the first day of Christmas south park, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian brothers who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. The character Bob McKenzie is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Although born originally as filler to both please and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content rules, the pair transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie siblings went on to become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
