In the video On the Scene of Ghostbusters (Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Sigourney Weaver,Rick Moranis), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian comedians who created “Great White North”, a skit which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it aired by CBC Television in the eighties. The character Bob McKenzie is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by comic Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously developed originally as an idea to both satisfy and laugh about network Canadian content policies, the brothers turned into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the United States. The two went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
