Bob and Doug McKenzie in One Hit Wonders Setlist – Part 1

In the video One Hit Wonders Setlist – Part 1, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of odd Canadian family members who can been seen in “Great White North”, a program which was featured on SCTV for the show’s third season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob’s character is performed by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is brought to life by Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as a skit to both satisfy and mock network Canadian content laws, the duo became a pop culture success in both Canada and America. The two later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
