Bob and Doug McKenzie in ONE MORE MILE – DAVE THOMAS

In the video ONE MORE MILE – DAVE THOMAS, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of fictional Canadian comedians who hosted “Great White North”, a sketch which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob McKenzie is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as filler to both follow guidelines and make fun of dumb Canadian content legislation, the duo morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The brothers soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
