Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is created by Dave Thomas. Which was made originally as a sketch to both fulfill and mock network Canadian content statutes, the siblings became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The two went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
