Bob’s partThe character Bob is performed by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by Dave Thomas. Although developed originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about network Canadian content policies, the two transformed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the United States. The pair went on to become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
